Totally 80's!

Ok, so I cleaned out our garage last week and this is what I found!
My old drill team uniforms! Hilarious! (Yes those are sequined leg warmers!) I used to march through the streets of Salt Lake City dancing to the Bangles & doning these beautiful outfits! Hannah loves them! (Sadly, so does Nick!) They ask to dress up in them almost every afternoon! Go Junior Jazz! (the name of my old team)

Wow! I had NO idea Allie. And all this time, you could have been marching for us, doing drill teamy things ... well, I certainly hope we can make up for lost time with this talent you've been keeping from everyone. I expect a performance from you and your little sidekicks Hannah and Nick the very next time we see you! In fact, are you really going to Logan this weekend, or are you avoiding this inevitable encounter? Sooner or later you're going to have to perform ... you owe it to all the sequined leg warmers out there, that patiently wait for their owners to find them and feel the beat once more. =) Seriously, call me next week ... I think we have an opening for this.

Allison, SOOOO CUTE! I totally know who the Junior Jazz are! That's awesome that you performed with them. Are they still around? Hey, I need your help to convince Lori to do a girl's night out at Cafe Rio.... you in? I think I can sucker Heather Lemmon and Rebecca Rasmussen in too! :)

I love Nick in those drill uniforms!! Much to the dismay of Matt, Savannah's new favorite thing is to put crown's on Dylan's head and play princesses.

The sequined leg warmers are classic. I think you should wear them running with us on Monday. I swear we won't laugh.

Oh the days of Junior Jazz! Those pictures are hilarious and adorable. I can not believe you still have those outfits. I remember watching you march in parades when we were little. Next time I am over we will have to play dress up, I'm sure Liza will love them also.

I can't believe I never knew you were a drill team girl. I love the outfits. Anything that sparkles is timeless in my book. And I think that Nick looks like some kind of space voyager that you would see on Star Trek back in the day.

Hey Allie, I am so glad I gave those outfits to you! How cool that you found them and shared them with your kids. You were adorable when you marched in them. I was so proud of you and all your energy to march and dance all those blocks! Maybe that's why Hannah is sooo good at her dancing! Love, Mom

I love it! Nick looks like Mork from Mork & Mindy! He is so adorable! You can tell that Nick just idolizes Hannah and who can blame him, she's awesome ( I want to be just like Hannah when I grow up)
