Happy Spring Break!

Monday the kids & I drove up to Salt Lake to spend the week of Spring Break with family! We had a fabulous time with all their cousins, aunts, uncles & grandparents! We broke the new mini-van in on our first road trip and she did awesome! I never knew what a blessing a built in DVD player could be!

Tuesday we went to Wheeler Farm. Hannah wanted to see a baby pig. We also saw cows, horses, sheep, turkeys, goats, rabbits & fed the ducks. We went on a tractor pulled hay ride and packed a picnic. The kids had fun just running around playing together! 12 of the 14 cousins were there! After we went to play at Aunt Dodo's fun house and the kids were exhausted silly! That night my oldest niece Erica watched my kids while just the sisters went to dinner. Yummy, good times! Aunt Emily was so sweet and let us sleep at her house for 2 nights!

Wednesday we went to the Children's Discovery Museum at the Gateway. It was right up Hannah's alley. She loves to play pretend! She shopped at the grocery store, played house and was a farmer for the day. Nick loved the balls, playing in the water & working construction! That afternoon we went to the hospital to visit our newest cousin(#15); Alexander Edward Peck. He is adorable! That evening we headed to Grandma Dottie's for dinner and a little fun & dinner at the mall. The kids got their picture taken with the Easter Bunny and rode the carousel.

Thursday we had lunch at my favorite fast food joint; Chick-fil-a! Then we headed to the Aquarium. It was really crowded but also very fun & interesting. That night we went to Aunt Keri's for dinner. The kids made and decorated cookies and colored their own plates. They also loved playing with Remington (the dog)!

Friday was a long drive home since we were all so tired. But we had a great time! Thanks to everyone who let us crash at their homes! My kids loved being so busy and having so many fun playmates! Let's plan next Spring Break in Vegas! Okay?

Road trips in the van are actually so much better than the sedan. Except I'm jealous of your built in DVD player! Cute pictures! We might go to Wheeler Farm as well in a couple weeks....glad to hear it was fun.

I am so glad you got a mini-van. What kind is it? Mini-vans are the coolest!! We just took ours on our first road trip. I agree - DVD players are the best. Matt thinks he is too cool to drive the mini-van. He says he is too embarrassed to even sit in the front seat. I think he just wanted to stretch out and watch movies in the back with the kids.

You are always so on top of it, aren't you? It was super fun to have you here and we had a blast as well. Emma keeps saying that she "needs" Hannah and Nick to sleep at her house again! Oh, and Alex's last name is Peck, silly girl.
