Swimming Lessons 2013

The summer started off with another round of swimming lessons.  All my kids are fish and love to be in water!  Jack cracked me up with his goggles!

 Sweet little Elle was content to sit with mom poolside and eat some tasty snacks!

 Jack got done 15 minutes before Hannah and Nick so he would chill with us poolside too! 

 Hannah takes after her Dad and is an amazing swimmer!

 Nick is so brave and loves to jump in the water crazy ways.  He can do a flip off the diving board and off the side of the pool, he also loves the high dive.  He gives me heart palpitations! :)

 

 A donut treat for another successful session! 

 BTW another of our favorite summer treats were these enormous snow cones!  YUM!

Hannah & the Groovy Gals

Ok so I just downloaded the next set of pics off my camera!  (800 something!)  Crazy!  I am never going to get caught up on my blog but I'm going to die trying because I really want to make these into books, so here goes....

 

Hannah's dance team is a cute group of girls called Groovy Gals. They perform a combination of jazz, ballet and lyrical.  She is loving it and such a great dancer!  Go Banana!

Nick loses his 1st tooth & gets his orange belt!

Nick is 7 and in the 2nd grade and has been very patiently waiting to lose his first tooth. 

It finally happened!

 Hooray!

 A visit from the tooth fairy! 

 Now he's just very patiently waiting to lose another!

 In May he also earned his orange belt in karate.

 He kicked through a board too!  He is super awesome!

 Congrats Nick!  Way to go! We are proud of you!

Jack turns 4!

On May 21st Jack turned 4!  We started the day out by singing happy birthday and blowing out candles in his cinnamon toast! 

 Then it was off to preschool. He picked to bring popsicles to pass out to all his friends!

 Then Dad, Mom and Elle picked him up for lunch at McDonalds and a trip to Chuck E. Cheese.

 Jack is a very talented boy! 

He can pick both his nostrils with his tongue, thus he never needs a tissue!

 After school Hannah and Nick joined us for bowling! 

 This 4 year old LOVES bowling!

 And Dippin' Dots!

 Home for pizza, presents,

 cake & ice cream! 

 Even great big 4 year old get worn out with a day of too much fun!

T-ball & B-ball

Last Spring Nick and Jack played T-ball & coach pitch.  They loved it and had a great season!

 

 Jack especially loved it! (Can you tell?) He loved hitting the ball and running the bases and when he played outfield sometimes jumped the entire inning out of sheer excitement! :)  

 Nick also had a great time!  He is quite the batter and loved the treats the team always got after each game!

 Hannah played basketball.  She is an awesome defender and even scored a basket!  Often times she was the only girl on the court!  We are proud of her for trying so hard and being so brave and outgoing!
