This weekend we took the kids on a little day trip to the Valley of Fire. It was gorgeous & perfect weather. They did great on the car ride. We packed a picnic and did the hike at White Domes. Hannah & Nick hiked the whole thing (1.5 miles) by themselves! We are so proud of them! They thought it was super fun to climb up the rocks and trot along the sandy trail. We had a fabulous time & can't wait to go again soon!

Oh how fun. You know, I have never even thought about going there. It's just always been one of those places on the way to SLC.
Good for you guys...it DOES look fun. I'm such a wimp with Luke. If I didn't have him to deal with I would love to go on a hike. Maybe next year. ;) Cute pics...still can't even tell your pregnant in that picture, you are looking great!
That is a really neat place to visit. It's been a few years since we were there, so I would like to go again. I'm glad you had so much fun!
Looks like you had fun. We should have come with you. We have never finished that hike. We always play in the sand. I am impressed with your little hikers. Next time you go we want to come.
I so wanted to go there but just never did. Looks so pretty. We loved going to red rock and hiking those trails. you look so great! say hi to the family.
When are you going to start looking prego Allie?! That Hannah is definitely yours! If I didn't know better I'd think it was you, especially with those funky glasses! :)
Wow! I am impressed you are hiking while you are prego. When are you coming to SLC again? I would love to see you.
Sounds like fun. Never been there. What troopers your kids are. My kids would probably end up on mom and dads backs.LOL
