Got Lights?

So our neighbor called a few days ago to inform us he was renting a boom lift to hang his Christmas lights and wanted to know if we would like to use it also! Apparently we have moved onto a version of "Christmas Street" and next door to the Griswolds! We weren't even sure we were hanging Christmas lights but got a little bullied into it! We can be so bah-humbug but we are glad we did it! Our kids love it and it looks great! Hannah was so brave and wanted to go up & help Dad. It was pretty windy that day and the lift was moving & bumping all over the place!

Keith has more life insurance than I do so he got the job of going up high in the lift and hanging the lower lights by getting up on the ladder. He only smashed his hand once and got a small case of frostbite!
Well worth the effort and just in time too, it ended up snowing over 6 inches that night! Now we can say we are the weirdos who put up their Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving! Here's to the start of a very merry season!

Your lights look great! Smart to put them up before the snow hit... Cris has that job to look forward to this week :)

So much fun! Our lights went up Thursday and it snowed this weekend; we're nerds though, we couldn't wait any longer to start decorating for Christmas!! You guys look great and it sounds like you're having so much fun - Isabel says hi to Hannah:)!

I love your lights! Sorry we didn't call when we were up there over Halloween. We seriously thought about it. There was just a lot going on with family stuff. We will try to get together the next time. Will you guys be around after Christmas? We miss you too,and would love to see you.

I love this! Your house looks SO beautiful, and festive ... but MUCH MORE importantly ... I couldn't help but notice that your cars still hold tight to their Nevada liscense plates. I'll take this as a sign that you're not fully committed to Utah, that you miss the Pryor family, and that you're thinking of moving back to Vegas. Shhhhh, shhhhhh. Just let me dream. =)

Well, that's efficient!! And your house looks so nice. And I love the snowflake lights. Just so you know, us Utah winter pros (compared to you foreigners :)) put up our lights at the beginning of November when the weather is better. But we don't turn them on until the day after Thanksgiving.

Anyway, we're so glad that Hannah could come to Sara's party. I hope she had fun!

You caved to the pressure! :) We have some Grisswalds in our neighborhood too, but we are still bah-hum-buggin it! How did you enjoy the snow Sunday AM? We got about 10 inches, good thing we have PM church so the kids could play in it in the AM, then the power went out and church was canceled! See ya for turkey day!
